The Pulse Ritual

An optional ritual that can be observed during special family events or 
on any personally significant occasion. If desirable, the Dharmajeev's creed may be 
recited during the application of pulse in order to accompany or 
reinforce the meaningfulness of the function.

How to make pulse : There are five ingredients that are mixed in equal 
proportions and stirred together with water to form a paste. Prior to 
mixing, each of the ingredients are thoroughly dried and reduced to a 
powder.

Each ingredient represents a domain of contemplation. 
 | 
 | 
1) jaggery : action   
2) humus : life   
3) water : relationship  
4) fragrant leaves : spirit   
5) wood ash : death

| Where to apply pulse : Pulse is applied as a fingernail sized mark at the 
location of your pulse as found on the neck or wrist of the arm 
most used.
